The Ratepayers Association, formerly known as the Katutura Residents Committee, has updated the community on the ongoing legal battle with the City of Windhoek. 

Walvis Bay residents have handed over a third petition, demanding the removal of the Red Force Debt Management Company as a debt collector.

The Grootfontein Municipality says they have on numerous occasions pleaded with residents, businesses, and institutions to engage their finance department and make debt-settling arrangements; calls, the council says, appear to have fallen on deaf ears.

Pressure is mounting against the Walvis Bay Municipality administration to remove Red Force as a debt collector.

Councillor Ephraim Shozi, at a community meeting last night (Wednesday), said he will table a motion at the next council meeting for the removal of Red Force as a debt collector.
