Trade tariffs imposed by the United States are negatively affecting Namibia's export earnings, having disrupted established value chains and decreasing competitiveness in traded goods.

The unrest in Congo has significantly impacted trade between Namibia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

A recent check by nbc's Zambian correspondent, Wamundila Chilinda, revealed that not a single Namibian truck was present at the Kasumbalesa border facility between Zambia and the DRC. 

Namibia Ceramics, a manufacturing construction plant site located in Tsumeb, is the brainchild of Heikky Katti, a local man who came up with the business idea in 2017.
