With the school development fund no longer compulsory and schools' growing population, some institutions are finding it tough to keep up with needs.

In response to this, the Ongombe Farmers Association donated N$25,000 to the Okamatapati Combined School development fund. 

The Okakarara Farmers Association (OKAFA) has placed six mini hammermills at the disposal of farmers in villages in the Okakarara Constituency.

The aim is to help farmers produce livestock fodder.
