Namibia and Singapore are looking to deepen their economic ties, with both countries set to explore new areas of cooperation while strengthening existing trade relations.

The European Union Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jozef Sikela, said the EU will continue to invest in a sustainable and clean future for Namibia.

The commissioner visited the Towards an Inclusive Design of the Renewable Energy Transition (TIDRET) project at Swakopmund.

The United Nations World Food Programme, through funding by the Government of the Republic of Korea, has launched a commodity voucher programme worth 500 thousand US dollars to assist 25,500 drought-affected families and 3,500 children.
