The swearing-in ceremony for the Chairperson and the nomination of a member to the National Council, scheduled for today at the Otjozondjupa Regional Council Chambers, has been canceled.
This morning, eight non-voting members of the National Assembly, nominated by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, were sworn in.
The ceremony was officiated by Chief Justice Peter Shivute.
