Namibia and Norway are strengthening cooperation on several fronts, including their joint work on the High-Level Panel for the Sustainable Ocean Economy, known as the Ocean Panel.

Norwegian Embassy Counsellor Ørnulf Strøm paid a courtesy call on President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House. 

The late Jackson Kaujeua Jr. was remembered for his golden voice and applauded for following in the footprints of his father, the late liberation icon Jackson Kaujeua, to keep the legacy alive.

Jackson Kaujeua Junior, son of the iconic Namibian musician the late Jackson Kaujeua, died in Norway this morning after a long battle with cancer. He was aged 46. 

The relationship between Namibia and Norway, which dates back to Namibia's liberation struggle, has grown over the years.

The Namibia Association of Norway, NAMAS, which started in 1980 and continued after independence, focuses on development projects.
