President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is set to deliver her second State of the Nation Address (SONA) tomorrow. 

Efforts continue to relocate and accommodate many flood-affected people in the Zambezi Region, with the most pressing concern being ensuring learners are settled so schools can resume. 

The City of Windhoek has approved additional funding for its debt relief programme for senior citizens and vulnerable residents.​

An additional N$100 million in funding was approved to support pensioners who were 60 years or older by 30 November 2023, but whose previous applications were unsuccessful.​
