The Swapo Party celebrated its 66th anniversary on 19 April, commemorating over six decades of leadership in Namibia’s liberation struggle and nation-building efforts.

Swapo Party Members of Parliament (MP)s continue to defend the Petroleum Bill, lamenting that the bill is not aimed at centralizing power, but rather at protecting national interest, improving policy coordination, and expediting investment.

The Prime Minister has called on public servants to be at the forefront of advancing the national interest and safeguarding national security.
 
Dr. Elijah Ngurare made the remarks while addressing staff during a meeting at the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM).
