President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, joins the rest of the world in the commemoration of International Women’s Day celebrated on the 8th of March.

Residents of Gobabis gathered to commemorate International Women's Day, a day set aside to recognise the achievements and contributions of women in society. 

The event highlighted the important role women continue to play in leadership, development and community building across Namibia.
