Former Miss Namibia, Cassia Sharpley, has returned to Namibia after participating in the Miss Cosmo International Beauty Pageant in Vietnam last week on Saturday.

With the just concluded first-ever inaugural African Media Awards 2025 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, which is organised by the African Union of Broadcasting and foundations honouring African leaders, the event featured nine categories with top nominees invited to a gala event.

The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT)has added its voice to those congratulating nbc entertainment producer Jackzee Tsaraeb, following his landmark win at the inaugural African Media Awards, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, last week.

The Namibian Theatre and Film Awards will return in 2026 after a six-year break.

The awards are scheduled to take place in March at the National Theatre of Namibia.

The nbc Drama School (NDS) concluded its 2025 training year with an energetic and heartfelt showcase held at the NBC Radio Building in Windhoek.
