The distribution of drought relief food in the Otjozondjupa Region has resumed after months of delay due to short supply.

Otjozondjupa Regional Council Chairperson Marlayn Mbakera has said the region faced numerous challenges in the supply of maize meal over the past four months.

The police in the Otjozondjupa Region have recorded two murder cases on Christmas Eve.

The region's Community Liaison Officer, Senior Inspector Maureen Mbeha, says one of the murders occurred at Otjiwarongo's Tsaxa-Aibes location of an unidentified Angolan man who was stabbed to death with a knife.
