The top ten Miss Namibia finalists visited the National Housing Enterprise (NHE) headquarters in Windhoek as part of their official corporate sponsor engagement tour.

An allocation of over N$1.5 billion has been made from sources outside the State Revenue Fund for the construction of houses under the National Housing Enterprise (NHE).

The aim of this additional funding is to accelerate the delivery of affordable housing and address the housing backlog.

Miss Namibia, Johanna Swartbooi, will be allowed to choose the location and design of her new two-bedroom house courtesy of the National Housing Enterprise (NHE).

NHE met with the Miss Namibia Organisation to deliberate on the location of her choice. 

The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) officially handed over the construction site of 172 houses in Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.

The project is worth N$14.2 million.

The town of Ondangwa is the latest where NHE has delivered 64 houses constructed for N$20 million.
