Teachers at a public school in Ovitoto, a settlement south of Okahandja, say its facilities are unsuitable for learning.

The President of the Oruuano Namibian Artists Union(ONAU), Banana Shekupe, says a lot needs to be done to encourage the growth of the creative arts industry.

Shekupe is under the impression that Namibian artists are slowly being forgotten as the years' progress.

President Hage Geingob has expressed disappointment with the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary Level results released by the Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture.

This was confirmed by Presidential Press Secretary Dr. Alfredo Hengari.

The Oshikoto Directorate of Education, Arts, and Culture is hosting the Oshikoto Annual Boys Seminar, which aims to empower the boy-child and inspire them to become responsible members of society.

The event is being held under the theme "next step to a boy's journey to manhood."
