Public urged to remain calm as RFA introduces toll gates

The Chief Executive Officer of the Road Fund Administration has called on the public to remain calm amid the rising panic, as plans to introduce toll gates along 23 road sections in Namibia will force motorists to dig deeper into their pockets.

Vice President Nangolo Mbumba says the government has not signed any agreement with the German government regarding the 1904–1908 Genocide negotiations.

He said this at the Chief's Forum Meeting attended by traditional authorities from communities affected by the 1904–1908 Genocide in Windhoek today.

Namibia, Botswana have mega projects they are committed to completing

President Hage Geingob says Namibia and Botswana still have some outstanding mega projects which the two governments are committed to completing.

Dr Geingob said this during a courtesy call by the outgoing High Commissioner of Botswana to Namibia, Dr Batlang Comma Serema, at State House.
