Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed cast his ballot in Jimma Zone, Oromia Region, on Monday, warning of alleged interference in the national election by external forces.

Members of the |Khomanin community have voted in favour of removing Gaos Juliane Gawa-!Nas and her council from the office.

The preliminary results from that election indicated that 634 out of 707 votes were elected for the removal of Gaos Gawa-!Nas and her council.

Both the Zambian cabinet and parliament were dissolved last Friday in line with the country's constitution in readiness for the August general election. 

This is in accordance with the national constitution, which requires automatic dissolution 90 days prior to a general election.
