Three individuals accused in the dagga plantation case in the Eendrag Area—Armand Schults, David Strauss Van Der Linder, and Johannes Kamati—appeared today in the Okahandja Magistrate's Court for a bail hearing.

The hearing was postponed to August due to the absence of an Afrikaans interpreter for Schults and Van Der Linder.

Kamati, who was initially charged separately, will now join the other two accused since all charges arise from the same incident.

The charges against them include dealing in a dependence-producing substance, conducting business without a proper work permit, and money laundering.

The three accused will remain in the Okahandja police station cells until their bail hearing, which is scheduled for August 14 and 15.
