The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Youth, Civic Relations, and Community Development held a stakeholder engagement at Oshakati.
The workshop brought together key stakeholders from the sectors of education, youth, sport, culture, and community development to take stock of achievements and challenges and review operational matters.
In his closing remarks, Deputy Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Youth, Civic Relations, and Community Development, Austin Samupwa, described the engagement as significant.
"I shall emphasise that accountability and transparency are not adversaries of progress; they are the foundation upon which sustainable development is built. Therefore, our oversight role must remain firm yet constructive."
He expressed appreciation for the high level of commitment demonstrated by participants.
Samupwa said the full and active participation observed throughout the workshop reflects a steadfast dedication to national development and the empowerment of citizens through improved service delivery.
