Divundu Town Council and the Municipality of Kariba in Zimbabwe will collaborate on economic development as an extension of the memorandum of understanding between Mashonaland West Province and Kavango East Region.
With the main economic drivers in Kariba District being fishing, power generation, and tourism, the partnership stands to benefit both parties through development initiatives such as capacity building, expert exchanges, and investments.
During a visit to Kariba District on Saturday, following the official signing of the MoU, the Namibian delegation toured local projects, including a water purification and packaging plant and a fresh and dried Kapenta fish farm.
