Suiderlig Secondary School in Keetmanshoop has received a donation of N$250,000 from the Swakop Uranium Foundation for the repair of the school hostel. This contribution was pledged during the school’s gala dinner on 1 August 2025.

The Deputy Minister of Industries, Mines and Energy, Gaudentia Kröhne, the ||Kharas Regional Governor, Dawid Gertze, and the Chairperson of the Swakop Uranium Foundation, Percy McCallum, along with the school principal, Rebekka Aupokolo, were present at the official handover ceremony. They were joined by staff and learners.
