President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reiterated Namibia’s firm solidarity with the people of Western Sahara during a meeting with Aubi Bouchraya, Special Envoy and Advisor to the President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
Reflecting on her past visit to Western Sahara as Minister of International Relations, President Nandi-Ndaitwah praised the resilience and determination of the Sahrawi people in their struggle for self-determination. She expressed appreciation for the ongoing diplomatic engagement between Namibia and the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
Bouchraya conveyed gratitude for Namibia’s steadfast support and commitment to African solidarity and liberation principles. He also briefed the President on recent developments in the United Nations-led process concerning Western Sahara, emphasizing the strong and enduring relations between the two nations.
