Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Hamdi Aali, paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, briefing her on recent developments in Western Sahara and reaffirming enduring relations.

Kuugongelwa-Amadhila stated, “So as parliamentarians we remain committed to ensuring that we strengthen the efforts of Namibia to work alongside other nations around the world and the multilateral organizations to ensure that your people are assisted to also attain self-determination.”

Ambassador Hamdi Aali emphasized sovereignty, “As a country we would share our resources with our neighbours, but we will never accept or allow for our territory to be colonised and for our borders to be changed.”
