The Presidency has cautioned the public against circulating promotional material and misleading information related to the so-called “Presidential Business Delegation and Leisure Tour to Namibia".

The tour is alleged to be organised under the banner of the African Ambassadors Economic Forum (AAEF), the Global Initiative for the Advancement of Africa (GIAA), Ayanda Media News Central TV, and the Invest in Africa Expo and Business Summit.

The Presidency states that neither President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah nor the Presidency is associated with, endorses or sanctions this initiative. 

The Presidency was neither consulted nor informed about the use of the President’s name, image, or office in the circulated material.

Therefore, members of the public, the business community, investors, and international partners are urged to exercise caution and not fall for any misleading claims or representations suggesting official backing or participation by the Presidency. 

Official engagements involving the President or the Presidency are always communicated through established government communication channels and authorised platforms.
