In the Men's NFA Cup Semi-Finals, KK Palace needed penalties to secure their place in the final, defeating Mighty Gunners 5-3 in a shootout, while UNAM beat Okahandja United 1-0 to book their place in the final.
In the first Semi-Final of the Men's NFA Cup, Ondangwa-based KK Palace took on Otjiwarongo-based Mighty Gunners.
Both teams created scoring opportunities, but neither side managed to find the back of the net in regulation time.
Mighty Gunners' Mutani Gariseb came closest from a free kick but could not convert, while Kalaluka Kalumbwekwa, Vickson Shivute and Elias Hambongo were denied by Gunners goalkeeper Beverly Shetukana.
The match also produced two red cards in the second half, with Mighty Gunners midfielder Mutani Gariseb and KK Palace defender Kelvin Akper both sent off.
The teams remained level after 90 minutes and extra time, forcing the match into a penalty shootout.
KK Palace converted all five penalties, with midfielder Thabang Setati scoring the decisive spot-kick.
Mighty Gunners captain Barnard Horaseb missed his penalty, giving KK Palace the advantage in the shootout.
KK Palace Interim Head Coach Sakaria Ita Kambonde reflected on his side's victory, saying the team's objective is to win the competition.
In the second Semi-Final, UNAM faced Okahandja United for a place in the final.
UNAM took the lead in the 15th minute when attacking midfielder Eduardo Namib scored from a corner.
Okahandja United pushed for an equaliser, with winger Stoffel Witbeen leading several attacks, but they could not break through the UNAM defence and fell to a 1-0 defeat, sending Robert Nauseb's side into another cup final.
Despite securing a place in the final, UNAM Head Coach Robert Nauseb expressed disappointment with his team's performance, describing the victory as fortunate.
However, he said reaching another final is important for the team's development.
The final has been set, with 2026 Standard Bank Cup runners-up UNAM taking on KK Palace, while Mighty Gunners and Okahandja United will contest the third-place playoff.
