Dinapama Manufacturing and Supplies has handed over a donation of school supplies, air-conditioning units, and information technology equipment to Junias Etuna Kandjeke Combined School in Okahao.

Dinapama Manufacturing and Supplies founder, David Namalenga, explained that the company is committed to working with communities to create a conducive environment for development.

"You have more than 422 learners, and that is a big population. We are here to support you, to work with you, and to create an environment that is conducive, and we are aware of what is called childhood development.”

He said Dinapama's humble contribution is to support the upbringing of children to the level needed, because the development of people is key.

The Principal of Junias Etuna Kandjeke Combined School, Hilya Nangolo, assured that the donation will be put to good use.

“It is going to make it easier for our staff members to plan their lessons in a conducive working environment, and the laptop will support learners' educational activities. Our school is using School-Link, and having this laptop will make it easier for us to have access to that link.”

Nangolo, however, stated that the school is facing infrastructure challenges, with old classroom blocks that have structural defects and a shortage of chairs and tables.
