The 16th edition of the Eenhana Expo officially opened its doors to exhibitors today at the Eenhana Convention Centre.
The trade and industrial exhibition will run until 1 August.
This year's expo is being held under the theme "Investing in the Youth, Investing in the Future – Today".
Corporate Communications Officer for Eenhana Town Council Simeon Martin said the event has attracted more than 100 exhibitors from both Namibia and abroad.
He said the expo provides a valuable platform for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to market their products and services while bringing business opportunities closer to local communities.
"We are calling everybody to come and see what Eenhana has in store for them this time around. And calling all exhibitors to give what they have prepared for the Eenhana location. In terms of all exhibitors, we are calling them to be supportive, share your services and give information that you have installed for this year."
"We came to promote the consumption of fish; we have a fish truck outside. Whoever wants to buy fish can visit; for the information on the trust mandate, we can give information here," announced Michael Samuel of the Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust.
"We are here to give information; application forms are here, ending 31 October. Please come through and get your information; tell one to come all," urged Secilia Nghidishange from the International University of Management.
Exhibitors expressed excitement about participating in this year's expo and encouraged members of the public to take advantage of the products and services on offer.
