Alpha Namibia Industries Renewable Power (ANIREP) has generated consolidated revenue of N$ 95.4 million, which is up 36% from the previous financial year.

This was revealed by the Chief Financial Officer, Veneranda Mahindi.

Mahindi further states that the Independent Power Producer portfolio contributed N$ 62.1 million, reflecting 60% growth, while the gross profit margin improved from 82 to 85%.

She also highlighted that the company's revenue is supported by long-term power purchase agreements and operations and maintenance contracts, providing stable and predictable income.

“We have reached an inflection point where we have more stable and predictable revenue sources than what we had in the past because of the rapid growth that we have been experiencing over the last few years.”

ANIREP Managing Director, Iyaloo ya Nangolo, noted that the company has expanded its footprint across Namibia through five business divisions, including independent power production, engineering, procurement and construction, operations and maintenance, energy trading, and green hydrogen investments.

He stated that the company remains the only renewable energy company listed on the Namibian Stock Exchange and has built a diversified platform to support the country's transition to clean energy.

The company currently owns interests in several renewable energy businesses, including solar power plants, a green hydrogen venture, an energy trading company, and Zephyrus Energy, which is developing Namibia's largest wind power project.

Ya Nangolo explained.

“Today, we are a leading independent power producer in the country. In just seven years since listing, we have become the number one in renewable energy. We also own approximately 40% of NeoGreen Hydrogen, a special purpose vehicle established to work with an international company, NeoGreen, which has other assets in South America, Europe, and Asia.”
