Thirty-six companies took part in the annual Old Mutual Golf Day at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club, bringing members of the corporate community together through sport and networking.

The annual event brought corporate teams and players together for a day of golf, with participants competing on the course while also having opportunities to connect and network.

Old Mutual Namibia Group Chief Executive Officer Tassius Chigariro said the event combines golf, health and networking.

"We created this event to combine health with the sport of golf. It allows you to stay present, have fun and network. We created it for the corporate league to come together and have fun."

Chigariro thanked participants for their support and spoke about his performance during the event.

"I'm really grateful for the turnout and I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the event. My game is going well so far, and most importantly, I'm having fun and enjoying the day."

With 36 companies taking part, the Old Mutual Golf Day brings members of Namibia's corporate community together through golf and networking.
