Over hundreds of girl learners at Ludwig Ndinda Primary School and Okaepe Project School benefited from hygiene kits donated by Ondjombo Jozongeama, all ladies' group.

Doing the handover, Okakarara Constituency Uzeraije Tjaverua says it remains the community's responsibility to create an environment where every girl can attend school regularly and pursue her education without unnecessary barriers.

"Your contribution remonstrates that when we work together, we can make a meaningful difference in the life of our children. I am very delighted and proud to be associated with your vision and aspiration to assist and develop our people."

The councillor pledged continued support to such initiatives, especially in the rural areas.

"Let this handover be a reminder that every child matters and every girl deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity and confidence. May this partnership continue to grow, and may we see more initiatives that directly improve the life and educational opportunity of our children."

Ondjombo Jozongeama member Vekuminina Tjaherani says the donation is part of their 10-member group's social corporate responsibilities.

"We have vulnerable kids in schools; we have kids left with grandparents, and they are sustained through pensions and grants. This is why we got up and brought these little gifts here. It looks like a small seed, but when watered, it will give a lot of fruit. This isn't much we brought you, but we brought you this gift, and this isn't the end, and next year we will include everyone, including the boy child."
