North Korea seeks stronger cooperation with Namibia

North Korea says it stands ready to deepen bilateral cooperation with Namibia beyond the historical political ties. 

That country's ambassador, Jong Song II, reaffirmed the situation following a courtesy call on President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House.

Body of Christ Party Member of Parliament, Festus Thomas, has urged President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah to declare a state of emergency.

This follows the brutal murders of three minor Okahandja residents.

Thomas said the murder of young children is a serious issue and should not be taken lightly.
