Namibia's Brave Warriors took a significant step in their Africa World Cup Qualifiers campaign with a 1-0 victory over Malawi in Malawi.

A 40th-minute strike from Cape Town City attacking midfielder Prins Tjiueza, assisted by Peter Shalulile, handed the Brave Warriors maximum points.

Namibia's Honorary Consul to Hong Kong, Henry Chan, paid his respect to the late Founding President Sam Nujoma and the late Third President Hage Geingob by laying wreaths at their graves at Heroes Acre. 

Palestinian Presidential Advisor Dr. Riyad Malki rejected the proposal by President Donald Trump to relocate Palestinians from Gaza to East African Arab countries, including Sudan, Somalia, and Somaliland. 

Palestine has extended a request to the Namibian government for the two countries to open diplomatic missions. 

Riyad Malki, the Special Envoy of the President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, delivered the request to President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House, following her inauguration.

Namibia, Portugal, and the European Union have reaffirmed cooperation in various fields.

Portugal's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nuno Sampaio, represented both his country and the EU at President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah's inauguration.
