The Welwitschia University will establish a state-of-the-art university at Usakos in the Erongo Region.

This is contained in the memorandum of understanding signed between the university and Usakos Town Council in Windhoek.

The Herero and Nama genocide is a moral and legal crime, and therefore, there is a need to revisit the dialogue between Namibia and Germany at the community and people-to-people levels. 

The European Union has donated N$3.8 million for drought relief, which will assist around 140,000 Namibians with essential resources such as food, clean water, and financial assistance.

This is in response to the State of Emergency declared by President Nangolo Mbumba in May this year.

Various dignitaries from around the world who were attending the ceremonial inauguration of the 6th President of Botswana, Duma Boko, have praised the country for being an example of peace, security, and a mature democracy.

Botswana's President Duma Boko has urged the nation to embrace peace and unity going forward and to work with utmost dedication towards moving the country to greater heights. 

The President echoed the sentiments during his inauguration address in Gaborone this morning.
