Namibian long-distance runner Helalia Johannes has joined the nation in mourning the passing of the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma.

NAMDIA spokesperson Beverley Coussement explained that the disclosure of the recovered diamonds' value took over a month due to an independent valuation process aimed at ensuring accuracy and compliance with required procedures.

The total weight of the recovered diamonds is 4,511.50 carats.
