The death of Founding President on the 8th of February was met with sadness and sorrow in Namibia and beyond.
Condolences streamed in from everywhere and representatives of many international bodies based in Namibia came to the Nujoma residence in Avis to sign the book of condolences.
The journey and efforts made towards Namibia's freedom and independence were aided by many.
Apart from those who took up arms and others who sat at the negotiation tables, those who remained within the Namibian borders had an assignment to complete.
Erongo Governor Neville Andre has described the late Dr. Sam Nujoma as a freedom fighter and a visionary leader who understood the critical importance of economic independence for the prosperity and sovereignty of the Namibian people.
The legal fraternity joined the rest of the nation in celebrating the life and legacy of the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, at NG Kerk in the capital.
