The Namibian government has announced the expansion of communal land in three regions to address grazing pressure and support livelihoods.

14 Okashana communal livestock farmers and cattle herders made their appearance before the Tsumeb Magistrate's Court, where they are facing a collective charge of malicious damage to property.

A solemn gathering took place at the Swapo office in Swakopmund, as a group of mourners came together to honour the late Founding President Dr. Sam Nujoma. 

The regional party coordinator, Daniel Muhuura, took the opportunity to reflect on his memories of Dr. Nujoma.

The Mafwe Royal Establishment has joined other traditional authorities in remembering the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma.

Some youth in Tsumkwe have raised concerns about what they describe as unfair tender awards in the constituency, particularly the construction of toilets in local villages.
