The farming community is encouraged to transform farming practices to mitigate the impact of climate change.

This call was made by the Marketing and Communication Officer at Agri-Transform, Ismael Henock, while speaking at the Farmers Information Day at Gobabis. 

The Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare's Conditional Basic Income Grant registration, which began last Monday, is progressing smoothly.

The registration is currently underway in the ||Kharas Region, covering Karasburg and Oranjemund.

Residents at Omugulugwombashe Informal Settlement at Usakos want political parties to provide basic necessities such as water, electricity, and jobs once they are elected into office.

With less than eight days to go to the polls, the police in the ||Kharas Region are ready for deployment at the 171 fixed and mobile polling stations in the region. 

The Khorixas Constituency office has trained 37 residents in backyard gardens to address food insecurity.

The residents also received start-up seeds and fruit trees.
