Dominque CJay Van Wyk, accused of stabbing to death John Matokolo Angolo, has been denied bail in the Swakopmund Magistrate's Court.

The bail hearing was postponed to November 21.

This comes after the family of Angolo protested to oppose the bail application of the alleged killer.

Auditor General Julius Kandjeke's latest report on the City of Windhoek's finances has identified several significant issues. Notably, the report revealed inflated employee costs exceeding N$72 million in 2023 and N$24 million in 2022.
