The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund, in collaboration with the Automobile Association (AA) of Namibia and the Women in Road Safety Forum (WRSF), held its 5th Women in Road Safety Conference in Windhoek on Monday.

Namibia is recognised by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as one of the countries in Africa with the highest quality roads. 

For the fifth consecutive year, the country has maintained its leading position in road infrastructure on the continent. 

The Landless People's Movement (LPM) will commit a budget of N$500 million towards sports development and offer coaching programs to help young people refine their talents. 

These were among several promises made by the LPM Leader Bernadus Swartbooi at the party's meeting at Rehoboth.

Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) President McHenry Venaani says his party is ready to tackle a lack of health facilities and schools and address socio-economic challenges facing all Namibians.

Venaani gave this assurance at the party's star rally at Otjiwarongo over the weekend.

Mental health and social support during disease outbreaks can be challenging, as governments are often unprepared to address such crises.
