Windhoek-Okahandja commuters to enjoy smoother rides as A1 dual carriageway opens

Commuters between Windhoek and Okahandja are in for a treat with the opening of the A1 dual carriage road, which opened to traffic today. 

Late last year, the Roads Authority opened a section from Omakunde to Okahandja for traffic as work continued on the dual carriage road.
