Germany's Ambassador to Namibia, Dr. Thorsten Hutter, recently visited northern Namibia to assess projects supported by the German government.

The Ambassador visited 10 commercial and cultural cooperation projects under the development cooperation portfolio.

Some street vendors around the Northern Industrial area in Windhoek have expressed concern over a decline in business activity during the winter, while others see it as a golden opportunity and take advantage of the season's cravings to serve up hearty meals.

Judge Moses Chinengu has dismissed Sacky Shanghala's application, allowing the Fishrot scandal's main trial to proceed. 

Shanghala, a key figure in the case, had sought the judge's recusal and the quashing of some charges against him and his co-accused.
