Debate on a bill that could restrict demonstrations at certain public institutions and places that are likely to compromise national security has been postponed to September.

The ||Kharas Regional Council has introduced the flexible land tenure scheme at Aussenkehr Settlement to improve the living conditions of locals, most of them still living in reed houses.

||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick said this in her regional development report on Tuesday. 

A motion that seeks to ratify the agreement between Namibia and Cuba for the transfer of convicted persons has been tabled in the National Assembly.
