Despite a budget allocation of more than N$1 million in the 2023/24 financial year, construction of a vehicle testing centre at Oranjemund is yet to commence.

Ministry of Information and Communication Technology's (MICT) Executive Director Linda Nakale says cybercrime continues to rise in the country, urging people to be vigilant.

Nakale made the remarks during a one-day regional consultation workshop on the Cybercrime Bill at Oshakati.

The President of the Former Refugees Repatriation Association of Namibia has tendered an apology to the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and the Editors' Forum of Namibia (EFN) following harassment of a news crew by some members of the association.

The 7th National Council conducted a special session and orientation seminar for the newly elected members of the 7th National Council following the  Regional Councils and local authorities elections of last year.
