The National Democratic Party's President, Martin Lukato, says his party is ready to address challenges affecting Namibians if given the mandate in the November elections.

Lukato was speaking at the launch of the party's voter registration campaign in Gobabis. 

In response to the state of emergency declared due to drought by President Nangolo Mbumba, the government of Qatar has donated a substantial amount of supplies. The aid, valued at N$1.3 billion, aims to assist the communities affected by the severe drought conditions. 

A group of international orthopaedic surgeons from Steps2Walk have started operations to perform surgeries on patients with crippling foot and ankle deformities in the country.

The Hardap Governor, Salomon April, has  called on civil servants to foster a culture of integrity, transparency, accountability, and good governance. 

Children from different children's homes in Windhoek gathered at SOS Children's Village to commemorate African Child Day today. 

The commemoration of the main event took place in the Ohangwena Region.
