The Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) assured the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo that elections will be held on Wednesday.

The SADC Electoral Observation Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Presidential, Legislative, and Provincial Elections was launched in Kinshasa on Saturday.

Senior citizens in Hardap Region have expressed appreciation for a lunch treat and food hampers, an early Christmas gift from the Hardap Governor's Office.  

The Hardap Governor's Office hosted 820 elderly people at the Elders Day held at Mariental.

The Office of the Governor of the Kavango East Region, in cooperation with the Watjako Foundation, held an early Christmas party for the people with leprosy at Muroro Village.

Stakeholders in road safety are working to ensure that roads are safe for all by setting up checkpoints along the major roads.

One such control point is on the Swakopmund-Henties Bay route.
