Some members of the National Council welcomed the drought relief budget allocation following the adjustment of the amount by the Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises.

The Landless People's Movement (LPM) MP Paul Isaak presented a motion for the allocation of land to address the pressing issue of housing for the urban poor and landless citizens in Namibia.

Isaak expressed gratitude for the opportunity to discuss this matter that touches the lives of all Namibians. 

The green hydrogen programme is seen as a game changer in Namibia's quest for economic recovery and inclusive growth.

The chairperson of the Namibia Green Hydrogen Council, Obeth Kandjoze, revealed that the green hydrogen initiative has so far created employment for about 500 people.

"We have circumvented the rough tides and now, we stand ready to forge ahead and revive the Namibian economy by continuing our drive towards shared prosperity."

The Chairperson of the Kavango West Regional Council, Joseph Sikongo, calls on the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security to increase the staff numbers at the Nkurenkuru Home Affairs office.

The office is reportedly only operating with two staff members.
