World Indigenous Peoples Day was celebrated at Outapi in Omusati under the theme "Indigenous Youth as Agents of Change for Self-Determination".

The hospital estimates the need for ten more doctors and fifteen nurses to ease the pressure on its current staff, who attend to hundreds of patients on a daily basis.

The Agro-Marketing and Trade Agency's silo capacity for grain storage currently stands at 22,900 metric tonnes.
