President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has urged Namibians to exercise care on the national roads during the festive season to curb the rising road fatalities.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called on party leaders to ensure that the recent election victory is translated into tangible results and improvements in the people's living standard.

The former manager of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation's (NBC) Funkhaus, Lucia Engombe, has died aged 53.

Engombe's death was confirmed by a close family member, who said she died following an illness at the Oshakati State Hospital.

The Osona Fishing company handed over food parcels to 200 households in Tsumkwe, which brought relief and joy to families ahead of the festive season.
The food parcels are worth N$150,000. 

The community received food parcels including maize meal, rice, macaroni, cooking oil, sugar and canned fish.

Kabulabula villagers under the Masubia Traditional Authority have objected to the appointment of a new Induna, alleging that he was appointed without community consultation.
