Fighting corruption is not a one-institution mandate but rather a collective responsibility of all Namibians. 

These sentiments were shared by the Prime Minister, Elijah Ngurare, during the National Anti-Corruption Strategy Steering Committee Meeting held in Windhoek today. 

Participants at the regional consultation on the revised National Policy on Sustainable Tourism Development have called for stronger implementation mechanisms, greater community involvement and improved law enforcement within Namibia's tourism sector.

Stakeholders in the tourism industry in the ||Kharas Region say the 2008 National Tourism Policy needs to be revised to respond to the current needs.

They said this on the sidelines of a two-day consultative workshop at Keetmanshoop.
