The Keetmanshoop Town Council has commissioned a project to upgrade gravel roads to interlocked paved roads as part of efforts to improve the town's road infrastructure.

Communal taps were handed over to the relocated flood victims at farm 508 in Windhoek.

Alderwoman at the City of Windhoek, Francina Kahungu, said the taps are a joint effort between the City and the central government.

A 28-year-old security guard was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Tuesday in Kuisebmund, Walvis Bay. 

The deceased was identified as Setson Inamutwika Nghinamwaami, who was employed by Windhoek Security Services cc.

The Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) announced on Thursday that the country’s economy grew by 1.6% in real terms during the second quarter of 2025 (Q2 2025). This represents a slowdown compared to the 3.3% increase recorded in the same period in 2024.
