Legal showdown set over fate of Red Line fence

The fate of the Northern Veterinary Cordon Fence, commonly referred to as the Red Line, will be decided in a high-stakes legal battle set for early next year. 

Professor Job Amupanda, leader of Affirmative Repositioning, will face the government from January 21 to 31, 2025. 

High Court to resume Swartbooi vs Prof. Katjavivi case

The High Court will, on October 12, 2024, continue to hear arguments, in the case of Bernadus Swartbooi against the Speaker of the National Assembly.

Swartbooi is challenging the legality of the 2021 Joint Declaration between Namibia and Germany.
