Members of the |Khowese clan have applauded a motion proposing the erection of an ever-lighting shrine to honour their late Kaptein Hendrik Witbooi in the Vaalgras area, where he is believed to have succumbed to injuries sustained during a battle with German imperial forces. 

The Government Institution Pensioners' Association in Namibia (GIPAN) has rejected the five percent annual pension increase by the Government Institution Pension Fund.

The Chairperson of GIPAN, Raphael Pieters, argued that the increment is 0.46 percent less than the previous financial year.

Construction of the N$103 million Keetmanshoop VTC, funded by the government, commenced in January 2021.

Windhoek resident Ray Sasman is on her way to complete a momentous task of walking 2,300 kilometres from Noordoewer in the ||Kharas Region to Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region.

The Berseba Constituency Office has completed the first phase of a N$2.5 million water and sanitation project aimed at eliminating open defecation. 

The project was funded by the Social Security Commission (SSC).

The Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Erastus Uutoni, has inaugurated the newly constructed Oranjemund Fire Station. 

The construction of the fire station was done by the government. 

The new fire station inauguration also saw the unveiling of a new ambulance.
